🏆 Improved Winners! Panel Closing
The Winners! panel handling has been significantly improved.
The helper now:
- Detects the actual Winners! panel more reliably
- Locates the panel's Close control
- Supports different types of Close elements
- Uses multiple click methods to ensure YouNow receives the interaction
- Verifies that the Winners! panel actually disappears
- Retries closing when necessary
- Uses Escape as an additional fallback
This should prevent the automation from getting stuck after opening a chest.
📜 Chest History / Log Improvements
The persistent Chest Log has also been improved.
The log now:
- Records completed chest openings
- Keeps the newest chest entries first
- Persists between page reloads
- Updates after a successful chest cycle
- Continues tracking the actual likes reached and configured threshold
- Includes the existing RESET LOG option
The log is tied to the completed chest-opening sequence so incomplete or failed cycles aren't incorrectly recorded as successful openings.
🔊 Custom Chest Opening Sound
The custom audio feature from the previous update remains included.
You can now:
- Select your own audio file
- Store the sound for future sessions
- Enable/disable the sound
- Adjust the volume
- Test the sound
- Remove the saved sound
The sound plays immediately before the chest is opened.

The script now treats the two different YouNow chest interfaces separately:

* **Unavailable Chest Panel**

* Opens during the scheduled check.

* Reads the actual chest likes.

This update focuses on improving reliability and preventing the automation from running when you're simply watching another broadcaster.

🛡️ Improved Own-Broadcast Protection

The script now uses YouNow's broadcaster End control as the primary signal that you're on your own live broadcast.

The automation is designed to:

🛑 Stop when the broadcaster End control disappears
🛑 Prevent automation from starting when your broadcaster controls aren't detected

The configurable opening delay remains available.

When the target is reached:

Chest → Likes checked → Likes locked → Optional announcement → Delay → Open

The locked like count is preserved during the delay so changing likes do not affect the current chest cycle.

💬 Custom Chat Messages

You can continue editing both your chest announcement and timed chat message.

Supported variables include:

This update builds on the existing YouNow Treasure Chest Auto Opener and adds a fully user-configurable chest opening delay, new chat message variables, and version/setting cleanup while keeping the existing chest automation and timed chat features intact.

🆕 What's New​

⏱️ User-Configurable Chest Open Delay​

You can now choose exactly how long the Helper waits before opening a Treasure Chest after your target has been reached.

The setting is available directly in the Helper panel:

Chest Open Delay (seconds)

Examples:

• <span>0</span> seconds — Open immediately
• <span>10</span> seconds — Wait 10 seconds
• <span>30</span> seconds — Wait 30 seconds
• <span>60</span> seconds — Wait 1 minute
• <span>300</span> seconds — Wait 5 minutes

The setting is saved with your other Helper settings.

🔒 Likes Are Locked Before the Delay​

When the chest reaches your configured target:

1. The Helper opens the Treasure Chest panel.
2. It checks the current likes.
3. Once the target is reached, the likes are locked for that chest cycle.
4. The Helper closes the Treasure Chest panel.
5. Your configured open delay begins.
6. The Helper waits with the chest panel closed.
7. When the countdown reaches zero, the chest panel is reopened.
8. The Helper opens the chest using the already-locked likes value.

This means likes changing during the delay cannot interfere with the chest-opening decision.

📊 Open Delay Countdown​

The Helper panel now shows the remaining chest open delay.

For example:

Open Delay: 27s

The countdown continues until the delay expires, after which the Helper reopens the chest panel and continues the opening sequence.

💬 New Chat Delay Variables​

The configurable chat messages can now use the chest open delay information.

Available variables include:

3. Replace the old script with V9.22.
4. Save the script.
5. Reload YouNow.
6. Open the Helper panel.
7. Configure your Chest Open Delay (seconds).
8. Update your chat messages if you want to use the new delay variables.
9. Save your settings.
10. Start the automation.

Your existing settings are migrated when the new version is loaded.
